A pilot scheme introducing young people to psychology as a future career option has been deemed a success by academics at the University of Salford. Designed and delivered by undergraduate psychology students, the series of taster sessions and hands-on workshops teaches schoolchildren aged 12 and 13 about forensic and sports psychology, and the strengths and limits of the human mind.
